Where will we finish this season?

IMO we are worse than the team Rodgers had in is first season as we had Carra who was a leader. We can't even do the basics at the back and in this league you will be punished. Just look at the Newcastle team that was relegated. No one though a team like Newcastle would go down but they did. I'm not saying that will happen to us but without a solid defence we will struggle big time.

It all depends on whether when Sturridge comes back he can stay healthy and start scoring goals. Without him we have three strikers that aren't scoring which is a calamity.
It helps us this season that only Chelsea look a really good side. All the others including City, United and Arsenal look disjointed.
If Sturridge comes back and does his thing my prediction is:
1. Chelsea
2. Manchester City
3. Arsenal
4. Manchester United
5. Everton
6. Tottenham Hotspur
7. Liverpool
8. Southampton
Will 7th be enough is keep Rodgers in his job?
50/50 at best I'd say.

We've been poor but certainly Everton, United and Spurs haven't been any better than us. They'll get better you'd presume but so will we you'd have to think. If we can get and keep Sturridge fit I see no reason why we can't finish above those teams. Then it's just a case of will Southampton fall away which you'd presume they will.

I think based on how the seasons gone so far, 4th.
Everton, MUFC & Spurs look no better than us. They may get better, but so will we.
CFC, MCFC & AFC look to be top three at this point in time. I can't see Southampton or West Ham or anyone else for that matter lasting long enough to seriously challenge for the top 4. All those teams would take a Europa spot if offered one right now.
The question really is which side of the four better sides click into gear first. I think every side would stake their own claim and have reasons as to why it would be them. In our favour we have arguably the third best striker in the league behind Augero & Costa in Danny Sturridge. When he comes back I'll think we'll look a much better side, just like Chelsea do when they have Costa and City when they have Augero.
I think Sturrigde will carry us up to January once he returns, and in that transfer market I'd hope we would buy another striker to compliment him, Mario and Rickie and offload Borini. And if we do that, I think that's us wrapping up fourth.Forwards.......

How do you offload someone who doesn't want to be offloaded?Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostI think based on how the seasons gone so far, 4th.

As far as I'm aware we've accepted two seperate bids for him but he's refused to go.
Another question is how long is left to run on his contract?

I actually believe we will finish just above the relegation zone, and that seriously worries me.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
