We are so, so narrow. Also, if we are playing this formation it does leave the CB's exposed so hopefully the Allen experiment is done and dusted as he's poxy... and Lucas can sit in there to support the CB's.

We do, and we need to get the ball into the opposition half much more quickly as at the moment we're so slow getting into dangerous areas that the attackers are getting crowded out. We need to pass the ball a lot more quickly, but lots of our MF players like an extra touch and a look around.

But you want the fullbacks running onto the ball, not standing on the edge of the pitch on the half way line waiting for the ball to be played out wide. It should go through the middle quickly then out to the overlapping fullbacks who the central players have created space for. We aren't moving the ball forward quickly enough because we don't have the right players in MF.

Like Kenneth says. We need more speed in our passing. We aren't narrow as the fullbacks are providing the width.

I agree, he's trying to implement a game plan with a squad missing it's best players & with other players that come in January may be out of the door and benched for players Klopp brings in.

But at the moment we are trying to play the fullbacks as high as possible to provide width and get down the channels. Both are quick and willing runners but the end product isn't there. They are leaving gaps behind them and both CB's have been dragged out wide and isolated. That's why I was happy that a dedicated DM came on in Lucas. Against better opposition we really could be punished on the counter playing the full backs so high.

It's early days and we are still learning on the job so not at panic stations, just feel we do be a wee bit open on times in the fullback areas.

I find the ball hogging of Lallana and Origi very frustrating and this slows us down considerably in the final third as does the indecision from the likes of Milner and Clyne.

I know what you mean, but at least Lallana carries the ball forward well. It's when he runs into traffic that it goes wrong.

We looked far more open when we did mind

I dont know what it is but I dont feel as nervous when teams attack us as I didnt under Brendan. My arse use to twitch 10 to the dozen under Brendan but our shape looks and feels better under Klopp and we appear to have more defensive direction

There is definitely a good player in there re Lallana and hopefully Klopp brings it out. Otherwise a big waste of cash

Yep our shape is better possibly due to the different formation.

It's certainly looking a lot better in my eyes than under Rodgers.

More purpose, more fight, better tempo and players being played in their right positions for a start. We can't ask for much more after 2 matches.

The timing, attacking movements, clinical finishing will all come in time.

Fifty matches in and we will see the true pattern of play emerge and it'll be fantastic!
