The Race for the Top 4 2017

It's West Ham's last home game. Considering the issues they've had at home this year and the fact Bilic was under pressure a few weeks ago, I think they'll have a go at us, which should play into our hands.
They are in decent from though, 5 unbeaten, so the downside of them having a go is they could potentially beat us and we'll be the ones hoping for a draw.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It's Southampton away and then Stoke away. Two tough games.Originally posted by red g View PostSouthampton Away and SUnderland at home...and could be 1 point behind us
I said on the previous page that Arsenal were the danger not United. Stilll fancy us to beat West Ham, And then it will be 90 minutes of ****ting ourselves against Boro.
Stoke are a bit of a bogey team for them. They have only beaten them once in the league there since 1982. Let's hope that continues.Oh triffic......so while you're up the road jollying it up, it's touch your toes time for Rodney

Memories for Arsenal finishing level on points and outdoing our goal difference on the last day. Thanks Thomas!Originally posted by Angryred View PostArsenal have the experience & know how for this stage of the season as have always finished their season with a flourish in past seasons so won't be surprised if they do so this year again!
One tit for another.

Realistically - Arsenal and United would both need to win all their remaining games to have any chance of getting top 4.
United won't beat Spurs and Arsenal will draw at least one of their last 4 so personally I think winning one of the last 2 will be enough.
Granted - I want us to win both and make sure it's beyond doubt but when have thing ever been that simple!

Can see him being a very good manager for us but not one to take us to the next level. Something Arsene Wengerish about him fortunately/unfortunately.New odds:Originally posted by Pablo View PostI still think we'll make it. Bookies still have us at odds-on:
Liverpool - 4/7
Man united - 2/1
Arsenal - 11/2
Liverpool: 1/4
Arsenal: 4/1
Man Utd: 14/1
I know it's not been plain sailing
and we've made hard work of it, but our odds are shortening at least.

We should get Joey Barton to stick £5m on for us.
If we qualify for CL, we won't miss the £5m, if we don't qualify then we can throw an extra £20m at VVD to sweeten the deal for him.
