I was open to cashing on on Mo and letting you Klopp spend the profits before he left next year. Now that Klopp is staying, I want Mo to do the same as I've no doubt he can maintain his insane standards for another 3 years at least, especially once he gets a good rest this summer and during the WC.

If we do sign Nunez, hopefully it's to strengthen the team to replace Div, not downgrade one of our best players.

I dont see the signs that he will recover his previous electric form and he isn't getting any younger. He turns 30 in June.
He is always edging for more money or a move, despite him saying it's up to the club, etc. Maybe he wants something that's out of our reach and so he is forcing our hand to sell him. His current contract is up in summer 2023 so either he signs or we sell, and I think he is going.

There are mitigating circumstances for his form, much like when people were writing him and most of our team off after the Covid season. If he stays fit, we're guaranteed 30+ goals for the next 3 seasons imo.
