I seem to recall some people were starting to question him at the beginning of the year?

I agree though, Looking better than ever this season.

I actually thought you meant Peter Shilton for a minute. Owen gave Schmeichel the yips all the time.

I know we say this about a lot of our players but he's legit the best in the world isn't he. It amazes me how under the radar he goes outside of LFC.

Really similar to that Danish dude that used to play for United in 1v1s.

There was an article recently, specifically on Alisson and 1v1's. He had a 100% record at the time and it analysed why.

Thought it was in the Athletic, but can't find it.

When Griezmann was through in that 1-v-1 I had every confidence Ali would save it. He's a world class forward but Ali is just unreal at stopping them.

Even when they try to go around him he often somehow recovers and gets a hand on it to stop it going in. The first time he did I thought it was lucky, but he's done it multiple times.

The two best keepers in the world on display yesterday, but ours came out on top. We would have lost that game yesterday if it wasn't for Ali

I think he might be the best goalkeeper I've EVER seen in one on one situations, he nearly always prevents the goal. Between him and Peter Schmeichel?

Edit: Just seen Big-Red-Ed post the same
