What an amazing keeper. I've never seen a better keeper in one on one's. Immense last night again.

No wonder he blesses himself before every match.

Knows well he will go for everything.

Best keeper around IMO. Biased maybe but great tonight, thankfully.

I actually think he did that to take the sting out of the moment. Buy himself and us 30 seconds.

But yeah. He’s very important in big games like that. Nerves of steel. And he’s hard as nails.

Definitely MOTM, he took a shot to the face and didn’t flinch.

Amazing performance tonight. For want of a better word he is an incredibly brave goalie. Goes in when the boots are flying. MOTM.

I guess you could call it a random one?

    Thank you mate.

In the same way, I’m happy for Chelsea & City to be talked about as title favourites while we quietly get on with winning games. I don’t suppose we can stay under the radar forever if we keep winning but the longer, the better.

While I suspect some of that is at play here, Allison's anticipation and position makes some saves look easier than they are (eg. Napoli) , but he still pulls off the world class saves, has excellent distribution, dominates his 6 yard box and headers better than most Cf's, so **** knows what these other supporters are seeing.
A United fan I know - who does some writing for the nationals and appears on podcasts etc - says Alisson is a lucky keeper cos everything is hit straight at him. As if it's all just pure luck. Incredible.

    Fixed that for ya.

He is operating at the same level that Neuer was some six or seven years back and has been at that level since his break out season with Roma imo.

Even his style of goalkeeping is very similar to that of peak Neuer. Has no weaknesses to is game and is amazingly efficient is all aspects of goal keeping. Never moves more than he has to and his brilliant positioning means he regularly turns potentially dangerous attacks into very routine catches or saves.

He will have a night off tomorrow night though

Bizarre how Alisson and other players of ours (Matip, Fabinho etc) go under the radar. Almost as if people hate us so much they're completely blinded by it.
