We need to freshen up the team somehow and I'd start at Southampton with Thiago, Gini and Hendo in the middle, and leave one of the front three out for Shaq. Jota being out is such a cruel blow ffs.

It's weird we've got him and Rhys coming through when neither of them have pace. You'd have thought it would be a prerequisite these days.

VVD and Gomez are arguably the two fastest CBs in the league.....we’ve just been spoilt. Add to that Phillips was on the way out and Williams was just a prospect who we loaned to Kidderminister.....I doubt we thought we’d be relying on them

I can't be disturbed. I'm 100% glued to the screen. Replays irritate me as I'm missing the game. I don't want them. They're unwarranted.



Tonight has been all I've looking forward to since West brom. I'm sitting watching intently, kicking every ball from the sofa, desperate for us to win, ideally by playing well since it is supposed to be entertainment after all, the more we struggle the more I get frustrated. Every time salah loses the ball I'm swearing. I can't help it. I just want us to win. Now I'm angry until Monday. Which will probably be more of the same. So shoot me.

I jump and shout much like you. During the game I berate players for having a poor touch or not passing the ball but then the moment is gone as there’s another opportunity for the players to make amends, so I look forward to it. At the end of the day, we’re still too and we will get back to our clinical best, I have no doubt. We haven’t played badly today. Just need to get some of these draws away turned into wins and Southampton is next.

Every game players are allowed to cling to Mane with impunity. And just before this the keeper had both arms around his leg but he almost wriggled free. Slowed him down immensely.

Top of the league with a hatful of injuries and going through a bad patch. Also had the biggest negative impact from VAR decisions. Seems like VAR has taken Xmas off as it’s not been used a lot for ages... ****ing pissed off we can’t beat the **** teams this season and the away draws could hurt us. Would rather lose a couple than draw six. United boil my piss with their ‘penalties for free’ and Penandes being touted as Messi by the media. United have been very ****ing lucky all season and should be mid-table where they deserve to be. The league is there to be won and we are the best team on our day... we just seem to be having very few of ‘our days’ of late compared to others around us...

Definitely and there are loads of reasons why we aren’t. Not only don’t we have the crowd to feed off, we don’t have the opposition fans getting frustrated to give us energy either. It’s really weird without any fan noise at all.

Other than Fulham, where we were bad, I don’t think we’ve been awful in those other draws.

The thing that’s annoying is we could be miles clear.

lack of fans is a huge thing but I suppose all teams in the same boat. We've played 2 or 3 really good games this season but there has been too many average performances. Very frustrating as we could be out of sight and have some very tough games coming up.

A positive is that we're usually very good against the better sides. Our best performances this season - Wolves, Leicester, Chelsea away etc - have still been clearly the highest level in the league, but that's what makes dropping points against so much dross so frustrating.

Mane should have gone down, VAR would have had to make a decision then. The mancs would all have fallen over in unison ........

This is true. And fab the same for the West brom equaliser. I don't want to see it, but others definitely do more of it and get the rewards.

What the **** is the deal with the linesmen? I thought that they were supposed to let play develop on tight calls and let VAR make the decision. On two occasions the linesman flagged and referee stopped our attacks one very tight calls. One time we had the ball in the net, whether that would have happened or not if play wasn't stopped (or if it was on or offside I don't know), but this seems to be going against the guidance and could have cost us. The system is a ****ing joke.

I am worried about United - they have fire power and lots of match winners up front. They have ridden their luck with injuries and penalties and that has to run out.......surely. They will be v dangerous vs us on the counter with either Williams or Phillips

United has got momentum but the good thing is that it’s still not half way yet.
