Premier League 20/21 Game 24: Leicester v Liverpool Match Thread (Plus Pre and Post)
This season’s collapse is the fault of whoever made the decision not to spend on a central defender or two and then spending pittance on this kind of quality.
We've had a one man defence for the last 3 seasons, the gamble paid off the previous 2 seasons but didn't this time and we're seeing the consequences.
The response has been pathetic too, just potter about slowly side passing to each other, over and over, and over hitting crosses - much like the last three months
It’s not luck, nothing to do with luck. We’re just very ****.
Very **** in what sense? Goalkeeper and new defender miscommunication for the first goal and obviously second goal new defender failed to play the line. Nothing wrong at all with how we played all game, pushed Leiciester and controlled their counter attacks all game. It's just rotten luck with injuries and trying to fit square pegs in round holes.
Can't understand what happened here. 1-0 up, scored a great goal and were cruising in this game. First goal conceded was a bit unlucky via a marginal offside decision, but the last 2 goals were gifted again, similar to the City game. ****ing rotten luck this season. Rotten rotten luck.
Looked very comfortable without scoring enough goals. Always gives the opposition a chance.
That's me done for the season. Will obviously continue to watch our games but not gonna watch any more football, no looking at league tables, no interest, nothing. I had no idea about the FA Cup results in midweek until this morning and it was a good break.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
Echo's of Klopps last season at Dortmund. Team completely run into the ground over 3 seasons and it completely fell apart.
It's looking like it isn't it? This teeam doesn't look like it has a lot of energy in it, very flat apart from short bursts. Although it doesn't help not having a proper defence.
