Thanjk you.

UEFA have always been cunts. Right after Hillsborough, Jacques Georges, the then chairman of UEFA called our fans beasts and said once again it was us causing trouble. The cunt later apologised but the damage had already been done.
Same for most, I think. I felt almost totally disengaged. Can't remember anything at all about the game. I mean I was about 10 pints deep, but still.
It's weird, I have zero ****s to give about the game, the performance and the result. UEFA and the French Police completely ****ed it, and cunt fans not getting that it could have been them (being good enough to get to a CL final notwithstanding!)

I remember very little about the game and didn't drink a drop of alcohol as you know - there are two things that stick in my mind though;
1. Thiago raising his arms at us with a kind of "what the **** is wrong with you lot?" look on his face
2. The huge line of riot police that collected in front of us towards the end of the game - a completely unnecessary show of force, but given what went on before the game it was no real surprise. In a way i'm grateful this happened, as it made me leave the ground the second the whistle went.
The irony was that they were absolutely **** all help outside of the ground when faced with the locals
My son and I were caught in the first queue at the underpass at around 6.30pm and after shuffling forwards like sardines for an eternity, were directed passed the first check point and ended up walking round a narrow fenced off passage way to the other side of the stadium. It was chaos there as well, with both Real Madrid and Liverpool fans stuck in a huge crush funneling towards another checkpoint, where there were only 3 policemen trying to check everyone's ticket one by one. Saw someone have their ticket robbed as they got it out ready to be checked.
After getting through this, we were held back from walking up a ramp to the concourse with a double line of riot police (about 20) fully kitted out with shields, helmets stood directly in front of us staring us down. I'm thinking to myself at this point "Am I going to a football match or entering a war zone?" We then had to walk around the concourse back to the other end. Constant streams of local youths clambering over the walls and gates with no police presence where it was actually needed and stewards with no clue or no care in the world.
As we got to Turnstile Y it was apparent that they were closed and we waited for almost 2 hours with the crowds building, space becoming non existent and absolutely no information from anyone as it got closer to 9pm kick off. The crowd was amazingly calm, a bit pissed off, but no trouble. We decided to walk further towards turnstile Z and A but same there although one small gate was opened. This prompted a rush from some local youths to push through and resulted in the tear gas and pepper spray. At this point, having been teargassed twice, we were close to giving up. It was now 9.10pm and we heard that the kick off had been delayed which gave us a little bit of hope. A gate opened again, only wide enough for 2 or 3 people at a time to reach the turnstile. We just pressed ourselves into the queue, made space for some kids and older people to get though ahead. When I eventually reached the turnstile, I had no idea if my ticket would be accepted as it was for Y and I was now in A. But it did and I was pretty much shoved through by a steward. I had to just stand and get my senses back for a few minutes before I could do anything else.
We got to our seats at 9.25pm and I actually don't remember much of the match. It didn't seem that important anymore. We already arranged with the two guys sat next to us to leave together as we had an inkling it was going to be even worse. All I can say is that, I've never been so terrified in all my life. Herded into an underpass with police vans blocking the way - more teargas - and groups of youths in balaclavas and hoodies running rampage. I still didn't feel safe when I got back to my hotel room.
Our flight wasn't until 8pm on Sunday evening and we ended up wandering around Paris just wanting to leave. My thoughts were with the kids, the women and the older supporters who just gave up and left the stadium. People having anxiety attacks with no means of getting out of the crush easily. Just glad that no-one died.
