Wonder who the referees were for the Everton handball last season..gonna have a look
EDIT: Ref Paul Tierney, Chris Kavanagh on VAR. Damn
It's outrageous that the referees are all sourced from the same place/body. There should be more than 1Last edited by wiw; 12-10-22, 01:38 PM.Sack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

So it's fair to assume we have to go far in the CL to get some dosh but also recover this season somewhat. That could prove troublesome since we're not likely to finish first in our group (we'd have to beat Napoli 4-0 or better).
So now the other groups become interesting for us. If Spurs and Chelsea top their groups (City will obviously) it's a very real possibility that our opponents will be one of Bayern, PSG or Real fecking Madrid.
But Chelsea and Spurs are not comfortably top right now and if both get pipped then Marseilles and Salzburg come into the mix for us. I will definitely be paying more attention now, and cheering accordingly. One tit for another.

Originally posted by BigChief View PostIt's not that bad. Games we must win: Brighton, both Rangers, Forest and Leeds. Draws against Arsenal, Ajax and West Ham are fine. And a loss against Abu Dhabi makes no difference.
So we need five easy-ish wins in a month. Doable. Anything more a bonus. Anything less and it's a looooonnng season if it isn't already.
Annnd I'm back.
So I said we'd be good with 3 points from Brighton and 1 from City+Arsenal games = 4 points. And two easy wins from Rangers. And here we sit.
Now for the rabble. Good to have the real Mo back. I'm confident my remaining predictions will play out as planned, if not better. One tit for another.

We were two points behind BournmouthOriginally posted by Pablo View PostLike most of you I'm sure I have completely avoided looking at the league table this season
Post-win last night I had a look and **** me we are further back than I thought

Anyway, West Ham on Wednesday (home) and Forest on Saturday (away - early kick off) is some turnaround but, all going well, we'll probably be 5th in the league come Sunday.Another MASSIVE game

Haha, I looked and we’re not as fair off as I thought!
14 points off top is pretty grim… but i think everyone feels that if ya finish ahead of city, ya win the league… we’re 10 points behind them, with a game in hand, which we have on Wednesday! If we win that, and go on a run of wins up until the World Cup, you never know. If they were to slip up before the World Cup and we went into the break either 5 or 4 points behind, then I think it’s all to play for, after the break.
It’s unlikely that we’ll get back into the title race, but if any team can do it…I don't tip

Brighton
Leicester
Fulham
Brentford

Arsenal on Wednesday would have been interesting for them.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think we need to win every game up until the world cup break and we can start to dream again!_____________________________________
