For me, the top four is a stretch at this stage.
Agree they’re not renowned for wobbles… we’re not renowned for the kind of form we’ve shown so far this season, arsenal aren’t renowned for being top of the league either…
It’s a long shot… a very very long shot… but ya never know..I don't tip

Originally posted by BigChief View PostIt's not that bad. Games we must win: Brighton, both Rangers, Forest and Leeds. Draws against Arsenal, Ajax and West Ham are fine. And a loss against Abu Dhabi makes no difference.
So we need five easy-ish wins in a month. Doable. Anything more a bonus. Anything less and it's a looooonnng season if it isn't already.
So we dropped 5 points against Brighton and Forest but gained 4 points against City and West Ham. We're on a net of -1 points from what I said should be 'ok'. Beat Leeds and we come out of this horrendous month on target for top four and CL next round qualification. One tit for another.

This season feels like 20-21, too many injuries, disjointed sides put out, crap performances, we need to just find a way to get through get the results to make top 4 and improve the squad in in the summer.
Really frustrated that we haven't improved the squad from a position of strength in last few years, it's coming back to bite us nowThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

- you are right about this season though. We all felt a bit light at CB that season and boy did it bite us. We all felt a bit light in midfield this season and boy is it biting us again, it’s compounded even more by seeing how well Tchouameni is doing at Madrid. It’s only October and Milner has started 5 PL games which is crazy. Our midfield today was 2 kids with less than 20 PL games between them (minutes), Jones who was playing his first match in ages in a position he has never played and a horribly out of form Fab. That is a shocking indictment of our transfer planning.
For me the biggest issues are the lack of effort and the seeming lack of a plan from Klopp. He looks like he can’t motivate them and we are still too easy to create big chances against.
City is an outlier and this is back to the norm - very worrying
