Interesting, I don't think the ref was shown it at full speed definitely saw the still and slow mo, if we can prove 2 major flaws in how VAR was used in one match thar opens cans of worms...The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Plus they need to get it done quick. The longer they delay handing it over, the more the suspicion. As if going to the Middle East wasn't bad enough. One tit for another.

Also that Super League thing is starting to look pretty good now.

They have released audio footage pretty quickly when it's made them look good.Originally posted by BigChief View Post

I thought it was telling they never released it for the MacAllister rescinded red card

we should ask for that now too, and the audio for any other dodgy decisions for the season so far.Originally posted by Pablo View PostThey have released audio footage pretty quickly when it's made them look good.

It was shown as a clip as well, not just a still. But it started on the stillOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostInteresting, I don't think the ref was shown it at full speed definitely saw the still and slow mo, if we can prove 2 major flaws in how VAR was used in one match thar opens cans of worms...

At full speed? I definitely saw the still and the slow mo, I don't remember seeing it full speed - I may be misremembering or wrong in that but he definitely saw those two, not sure about what else.Originally posted by Norbs View PostIt was shown as a clip as well, not just a still. Yeah the PGMOL statement didn't apologise, maybe they have apologised to the club or there has been something since, but the station Saturday didn't have an apology in it.Originally posted by Deano View PostWhere is this apology, All I have seen is an acknowledgment they ****ed up royally ?The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

For me the Jones' appeal is a pawn in a bigger game, if the appeal is successful then they are admitting that the VAR team ****ed up on procedure on that one as well as getting the offside wrong. There are 3 options:
1. Uphold Jones red card and back the official
2. Overturn the red and give the VAR team the boot, in the process claim they have reformed VAR.
3. Overturn the red let the VAR team off the hook and look weak and spineless.
I should say that they have alot of experience of looking weak and spineless so we can't rule that out as a real possibility
