It absolutely matters when we play United, I really do give a **** in the scheme of things. This isn't just **** for us, it gives a boost to them.

Come on lads, we could easily have won that before extra time and be laughing now. Admittedly, they could have as well, but we were more likely. It says little about the rest of our season bar the extra 30 mins and a few heads down for a while. Could be the reality check we need for the league and I'd much rather have that.
      Really?

Not denying he was poor when he came on, but us failing to win when we were in the ascendancy can't be pinned on a player who wasn't yet on the pitch.

Fewer games is the silver lining, especially as we have had injuries and look leggy.

Yes, and when were in our pomp and they were **** back in the day they usually pulled something out of the bag against us, it was never a gimmee. That's a really poor result for us and it hurts.

I think we'll do well to win anything else. Players look mentally tired.
That's a knee jerk after a week pumping City and Sparta.

One more game before the end of the league season. And Coventry at that.

It always sucks to lose to them, and the nature of the defeat given the way the game went makes it worse. That said if we need to learn a lesson I would prefer to do it in this competition that in the league.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We shouldn't need to be "learning lessons" at this stage. We had close to our full team out, not a bunch of kids.

                          We looked tired.

It’s been an intense run. The break probably comes at a good time. The players can go away fit their countries, refocus and come back and go again.

I don’t know why people are turning their nose up to the FA cup. Ya the league is soooo much bigger than anything else we’re in, but we’d come so far, I dont know why people are putting a positive spin on this.

Yaaa exactly. People are over simplifying it if they think the fact we lost means we’ll be more likely to beat them in the league.

I don't think they will but that's not the point. They are generally boosted and more hopeful v
