Why did he revert to the failed approach at HT? Sure, we looked a bit anemic, but we had chances and were in control. He put Salah on, who is dirt, and pushed Wirtz out wide and out of the game. We know it doesn't work, in fact it's destroyed our season. It's a huge over reaction to being 0-0 at half time. My faith in the man is hanging on by the thinnest of threads.

My biggest fear after Sunday was how horrifically **** West Ham were which may well have papered over a few cracks. A win tonight would have been validation of a change in form when instead it seems all of the issues remain. West Ham made us look good. It’s beginning to be difficult to see how anything other than a change of manager benefits us. The thing we were hoping to see from Arne was this tactical flexibility and making on game changes to impact performances. He seems a bit rudderless now. Has one style of play and a small pool of players he trusts and they now aren’t performing.

He’s also not showing that he knows how to bring on new signings bed them on and get the best out of them.

It’s virtually impossible to see Slot riding this storm out.

Leeds away at a tea time Saturday night fixture looks an absolute nightmare for us. Hostile crowd. Away from home. I’m worried.

Plus they’ve just had a good win against Chelsea. Every team will be ready to get at us and knows exactly what to do to be successful.

I agree his inability to get the best out of the new players is worrying. They are all talented but are being wasted. You can add the massive drop in form of almost every player as well. When they all suddenly look average when we know how good this team has been you look at the manager.

Everything he’s doing this season with tactics is bizarre. Going away from everything that’s made this team successful. He made little changes last season that worked. Now he’s thrown everything out. There’s no pressing, no aggression. Players don’t seem to know where to be or what to do. It’s a mess.

Teams aren’t scared to play us anymore. And Anfield is far from the fortress it had become again.

Well if these 6 players are good enough to keep them up in the games around Afcon it's probably not stupid, but it's quite the gamble.

That's a lot of players to lose in one go, from a squad size and balance perspective

But they probably only are 3 wins away from being safe from relegation, which is pretty incredible at the beginning of December

Slot looks like he is on the ropes alright.

I think he is the same coach as last year though to be honest. Loads of circumstances impacting this year:

1. Salah has fallen off a cliff. Which is ****in crackers when you consider the national campaign to give him a new deal last year. He has a big decision to make. Move to a lower league, of become a sub at lfc. The club also have a big decision to make. He should be taking Chiesa place in the squad as an impact sub at this stage. Or else change the formation totally because he is doing **** all use on the wing.

2. Virgil. What the **** is going on here. Just like Salah and it is now costing us. Again we need to change the way we play to accommodate him. Or else sell him.

3. Macallister. What the **** has he been doing?? Lfc is too big to play on reputations and the fact that Endo can't get a minute when Macallister is this bad tells a story.

Last season, Virgil isn't doing that tonight and we win that game. There were loads of times where we didn't play brilliantly but it ended up 2-0. A bit like West Ham the other day. But this team has a lot.of errors in them.

We are too easy to play against. I think that is because our play in wide areas is easy to defend against. Maybe all those fellas who were crying out for Antony gordon were right. Gakpo cutting in onto his right is just ****in annoying at this stage.

I think Slot's tactics lack courage.

On the eye test I think full backs have been told to limit any overlaps - because I think Slot is afraid of being countered without the FB protection.

Overlapping FBs is really basic attacking play and I can't believe likes of Gakpo would ignore this option unless instructed to avoid it.

We lack the bravery Klopp always used to refer to.

We had 1 shot on target in the second half and we were restricted to pot shots all game as we had no idea how to break them down. They had 6 shots on target vs LFC at Anfield in the evening game, we got a lucky goal & created **** all, some Szob ling rangers.

Slot is really over explaining things in his interviews aswell, it sounds like he's trying to put across to the media that he knows exactly what's going on, the way the games went, the ideas he put forward etc but we have 4 wins in 14 games after winning the league last season and spending record amounts of money & it's coming across horribly.

100%. Yeah his in game changes have been terrible all season & his blind spot for certain players has been detrimental for the team.
