This is a player power move, didn’t fancy the grind and wouldn’t allow him to play his preferred formation. I actually think our squad would benefit from a back 3 approach now and it could get the best from some our players.

We'd need to sign more CBs to be able to play 3 at the back, even if we had got Guehi in the summer we'd have been playing 3 from 5 every game, one of whom Gomez who is prone to picking up injuries and the other being a fairly inexperienced Leoni.
Wasn't part of the reason we went for Slot that he used basically the same formation, alot of the talk about Amorim was we didn't go for him because he'd want to play a different formation - obviously we don't know how much truth there is in those stories but...The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

Who plays like that?
Most teams do fine with 2.
We only have 3 senior CB, and 2 of those are injury prone the other really old. No way we are planning to go 3 at the back.
