Well if they aren't, that shows poor leadership from the manager. Man management is at least half of the job.

We're still in contention for 4th, and we are still in the CL, but if we lose to Marseille, he's toast imo. If we want Xabi, and I think we do, we'll move after that loss to enable us to get a player or two before the window closes.

this is exactly what he's been doing the past few months and what we see on the pitch is a slow, overly cautious, fragile, fear ridden side that doesn't have an identity because the manager doesn't know what we are and what to do with us. We can keep chugging along in the short term win some, lose some, draw some kinda thing with no long term plan or we can make the change a few months earlier than planned and maybe, just maybe we can get the feel good factor back.

We seem so easy to counter. Teams know they can sit deep and defend and wait it out then come at us in the last 20. It’s the same thing every game. It feels like they know they don’t need many chances to score against us either. Burnley got more and more confident as the game went on. If it was a one off performance against a newly promoted team in the relegation zone so be it but it’s the same thing over and over.

I don’t know if new signings really change much with how the team is set up to play.

It's the speed of our play that's killing us. First half we were quicker, Kerkes was passing and running and we were looking for quick passes. Second half normal service resumed. When we get the ball we need to make sure that we take as many passes as possible when getting up field to give the opposition time to regroup. Only then can we start our attacking shape of 6 or 7 players Vs their 11, and with enough side to side passing, a tiny gap might appear briefly, or we can try and blast a shot at a defender from 30 yards out. You can see it in real time, we actively try and slow the game down. Why go forward for a 2 Vs 4 chance when you can have 7 Vs 11 and that's a much better ratio?

Start of the season, slot talked about having more control in games and this is clearly what he thinks that involves. It's ****, he's a moron, and the sooner we get rid the better, both in terms of entertainment and results.
