Personal life and gangster pals aside he's a **** manager.

No arguement from me on that. As you say, if the less than savoury company he has long kept, and is still keeping, is removed from the chat, his record as a footy coach is really awful.

At Villa his tactics looked like something from 30 years ago, plus the players seemed to just give up the ghost on him after about 10 games there.

Anything I can find about his time as a manager in SA seems to suggest the same thing.

Slot is the luckiest man ever to get his name on the PL trophy. By the same degree Klopp is the unluckiest to have his name only once and to have missed out on the celebration

Do you know what. All this, the situation we're in, the way everything has gone so wrong after going so right has saddened me. Everyone calling him for him to go, myself included. It's just mental after winning the league last year. I actually cannot believe how wrong it's gone and how much ill feeling there is around Slot and the club at the moment.

Believe it or not, a part of me would genuinely like to see him turn things around as much as I can't see it happening, it's just really sad actually. [emoji22]

No hate for the guy at all, he just doesn't know what he's doing in the circumstances that have arisen. He's quite unlucky to be in this situation imo, but it's kind of tough **** because we need someone to deal with it better than he seemingly can.

I agree with people saying Gerrard is a ****e manager, but I think him at LFC as a temporary caretaker is a different kettle of fish. It will create a positive vibe and i don't think resuits under Gerrard would likely be worse than we've seen this season. It's difficult for a caretaker to have authority in the dressing room, but he automatically would.
