The difference between us and chelsea is they get favoured by refs including all their diving that gets rewarded. We get clotheslined and the other team gets a free kick. Chelsea would have not got the calls we got against fulham if they were in our place. Even Slot mentioned how he always heard liverpool got favourable calls from the ref before he came but since he got here he doesnt see any of that, almost the opposite.
Half the city players look like they've lost the hunger. 4 seasons in a row, collecting huge paychecks, some have checked out. That second goal from UTD, the defender was close enough to give a final sprint and slide to try and block the ball. But before it even crossed the line you can see him slow down like he couldnt be bothered. You have to replace half that team with hungrier players. Peps getting destroyed by them not listening to him.

We can lose 5 and draw 0
Chelsea can lose 3 and draw 1
Arsenal lose 2 and draw 0
City can lose 1 and draw 0
I'm still here Norbs.
City in massive trouble. Can't get more than 93 points if they win every single game. Arsenal beware, despite an "easy" run to the end of their season they can't afford to feck up any more games before they get to that 'easy run'. (Edit: forgot to add, that includes fecking up Chelsea.
)
Out of the competitors to the holy grail I would take Chelsea. Suddenly they're not flying under the radar anymore and the bottle pressure is on them.Last edited by BigChief; 17-12-24, 01:40 PM.One tit for another.

Put them in the Conference. There is precedent. Something similar happened to Juventus, IIRCOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostI'm hoping they've been booted out of the league before next season
Or at least have such a large point deduction relegation is inevitable
If it wasn't for their takeover, they'd probably be close to it anyway.Last edited by Tatterdemalion; 18-12-24, 11:34 PM.Really?

I haven't looked at our fixtures around then but 2 games v Spurs is tricky and energy sapping. And if we win we get to play either arsenal or Newcastle as a reward. Throw in the fact that we have a rescheduled game v Everton in there as well.....then that makes it already congested. Just feel like we need a few bodies if we are going to go for everything.
If we're not careful, we could end up handing Chelsea an easy sneaky league here

Happy with that. Sunday will give us an insight of how they might line up in the cup. We will make substantial changes at least for the first leg, but once we finish top 8 in the CL we should be able to go a little stronger at Anfield.Originally posted by Mark79 View PostSpurs in the Carabao semi final.
2nd leg at Anfield.We are here for a good time not a long time....
