You’re right, I doubt many LFC mangers would. I don’t agree that they’d be unworthy of respect or any less good at their job if they did though, especially in this position we’re in. After winning a few cups, I rather concentrate on the big prizes. But yeah, each to their own.

We have so far in the league cup under Slot to be fair, so maybe you’re right. But we now have a pile up of injuries in defence, going into a particularly hectic period, so not a lot of depth there, which is going to make rotation tricky.

I just think you need a very fair wind with injuries to go for all 4.

At present we are without Konate, Bradley and Tsimikas, in defence. Basically means we have the back 4 that played today and Quansah to pick from for probably the next month to 6 weeks which will include a couple of domestic cup games.

And Trent literally just back from injury with Slot only prepared to ask 70 mins of him. The schedule is a monster.

Morton needs games. Endo too. Nunez could do with minutes. Kids could get some minutes too.

I agree we need to rotate the first team during these games. The quadruple sounds nice, but we dont have a lot of cover in key positions.

Midfield isn't a problem numbers or rotation wise, assuming the midfield today is first choice, Jones, Elliott, Endo, Morton and Nyoni that's fairly well stocked.

Defence and attack are the problem, mentioned we only have the back 4 that started today plus Quansah, and attack wise with Jota and Chiesa out we have the three forwards that started today and Nunez.

Best case scenario would be resting 5 outfield players and playing 5 first team outfield players

I wonder if they’d give Amara Nallo a chance in the cups or on the bench in Europe in the last couple of games.

Watched him in midweek in the u19’s against RM and he was the standout for Liverpool who struggled in the game. He looked dominant in defence and captained the team.
