I'm ****in loving this season and am filled with hope at the moment. I'm also really enjoying watching us because some players are just being so noticeably outstanding - Konate and Gravenberch are the two that make me cheer out loud when watching.

I really enjoy the slow build up play followed by super fast explosive passing and movement in the final third of the pitch. Obviously that has tended to be in the second half of our games. It's all very intriguing and exciting atm.

Interested to hear how thinking it's been a great season but admitting it's early doors and let's see how we go... is mutually exclusive to not enjoying it in the eyes of some posters? Heard this type of thing over the years some posters. I do find people telling others how to support the team amusing. It's going great, we'll see how we go.

If we are still top with a reasonable gap then we will have a very real chance.

In that case saying to temper expectations and to see how it goes is also telling people how to support the team.

Me I see disagreeing gently with someone who wants to go down the more cautious route as debate and my use of the word "we" is no different to how Memzey used the word "we"

Nobody is saying he is a **** supporter or that he is wrong, just that others, myself included, don't want to fall in line with that thinking for ourselves and that we, there is that word again, will say how we ( ) see it just as those taking it a different way will see it how they like and also say it as it is for them.

You on the other hand are totally ****ing wrong, and I am always right when any of our interactions
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

No man, it's just my opinion on how I feel, I'm not telling anybody the likes of "If they cant enjoy it, (which nobody has ever said) maybe they step away from watching football".

Each to their own, we all support the club in different ways and throughout the site everyone seems to be happy and positive... It's all good

Yeah, I don't think anyone is trying to tell anyone else how to support the team, or even, whether to enjoy the moment or not. It's just an interpretation of what our current position tells us about where we are likely to end up come May. Personally, I'm unable to read into our league place anything beyond "a great start". I'm long in the tooth enough to know that it takes more than that to win, or even compete for, a league title. I've shared a marker about where we need to be, in my opinion, for that great start to translate into something more. That's pretty much all there is to it. Am I cock-a-hoop with what Arne has done and do I go into work every Monday morning grinning like an absolute cunt? Hell yes. Have I seen enough to say that we are winning it? Hell no. I'm enjoying it immensely, while knowing full well what it is that I'm enjoying; a great start.

I'm loving it and I have the luxury of getting carried away becuase no-one's really into football here so there's no pie in face if we don't finish first.

So **** yeah, we're winning the league!

                      Which I did not say.

But we can always circle back to the more salient point of you being wrong and me being right on anything we disagree on.

I am also absolutely loving this, we are in the position every other fan wishes their team were.

I genuinely can’t see Man City going on one of their runs this year, they are way too dependent on Rodri. I think Arsenal will finish above them.

Would be surprised if they did not go on a good run from January on. Same with Arsenal.

But we traditionally tend to finish strong and looking at Slot's past history, his old teams tended to finish seasons strong as well.

I would just love to see us avoid the wear and tear that comes with chasing the domestic cups as well and just put everything into the PL and CL.

                              Yeahhhhhh lets go with that

I didn't say you did pal, it's just a bit of a common theme that pops up now and again from a small minority of posters about how you should or shouldn't support the team, it's odd

yup exactly where I am at, imo a balanced and reasonable assessment
