We all know City will put a big run of wins together soon, having that bit of daylight between us and them is great because we will have a dip at some stage too, it's inevitable unfortunately. Not losing against them is vital, a win would be massive. Not only would it widen the gap but it also makes a statement under Slot. It's a tricky run coming up but through out the season calender there are tricky runs for all teams every few weeks. As is, we have to be delighted withbth results and the performances. It's very early days but it has been pleasantly surprising. See what happens

I know I'm being bullish but if we can't dream of the title now, when can we? I'm trying to enjoy the journey more, not just wait to see where we end up at the end of the season to decide how happy I should feel.

We are 5 points clear, have 2 key players coming back post international break, and, most importantly, our two rivals are facing significant challenges.

Arsenal have forgotten how to score goals and as a result will probably fall shorter than usual, and blame the world for their ills. City don't look right defensively - they will still score plenty of goals but it feels like their squad is stretched to breaking point, and if we can beat Southampton and them in our next two games, I think they will fall right off the pace from conceding too many (like us in 20-21)

Then again our so called easy run thus far has seen us play 5 out of the other 9 teams in the current top ten and the likes of Brentford and Bournemouth were top ten when we met them afaik. So very much a tricky run already.

Plus we have gotten the away game against the red mancs out of the way too.

Looking at the results teams like BHA, Bournemouth, Forest etc have gotten against the big teams, I think it fair to say that the so called mid table teams are very much tough games these days too.

Even teams like Wolves, despite their results, have given the likes of us and City damn hard games.

Too early to start talking about potential titles. At this point last season Spurs were top and we know what happened there. Life under Arne has got off to a great start but that's all it is at the moment - a great start. Let's see where we are after the chrimbo set of fixtures going into January. If we are still top with a reasonable gap then we will have a very real chance.

Even more reason to dream a little when we can. We spend too much time waiting to see if things pan out how we would like them to and we then miss enjoying some of the smaller moments along the way.

Be all in when you can, and only pick up the pieces when you have to.

In other words, we're fackin' having the lot this season

I would rather ZERO title talk on here. Let’s focus on one game at a time and see where we are come May.

If you can’t enjoy what’s happening at the moment, I’d argue you should step away from football, because this is about as good as it gets. All the data now has us as overwhelming favourites to win the league.

Personally, I’m going to enjoy it rather than worry about anything or anyone else.

Everyone outside trying to tie themselves in knots to see we’ve been lucky/had an easy start. Just says they’re worried to me.

Each to their own and I'm happy for the players to externally say one game at a time, we are not thinking about the title etc. Internally though, they have to be with every PL game a cup final. If this team can stay fit and play every game to their potential then they are going to be hard to stop.

                          Players, for sure.

But not us, we should at least try and enjoy it for once.

Defo. People are afraid of going all in emotionally and the wrench if it falls flat.

But we are an emotional football club where the fans have so often helped the team so why hold the belief back.

Nothing bad can happen in terms of results for two weeks. Enjoy being top of everything and the best team in Europe for approaching the first third of the season.

                              Drink it in, man.

Hell yeah. You think you are going to win then you have a better chance of getting that win than if you think you might not win.

It is a proven fact that 60% of the time that attitude works every time.
