Yeah - I think he is showing glimpses also. He is insanely good with the ball in tight areas. Would be good to see him in a game where it is more open and he gets some time and space on the ball.
I think he just needs to find his place in the team, he is a young lad coming into a team of stars and needs to find his way. Not worried in the slightest.
Where is the idea coming from that the players don't trust him, so don't pass to him? I just don't see it. He gets plenty of the ball.
He's shown some great touches and passes, mixed in with some not-so-great contributions, but has yet to produce a meaningful impact in any game. He's got exceptional talent, but the jury is still out on whether his talent can prosper in Premier League
Players are too worried about playing a risky ball and maybe losing possession but we will also be able to compete for a second ball if the defender puts a toe on it.
If wirtz makes a little run in a crowded box then play the pass, we need to break their lines with so.e incisive movement and passes.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Especially with us being champions, more teams then ever are going to park the bus and leave very late space to play in.
But as mentioned elsewhere, the CL is why we spent all of that money.

This.
Although, I think I’ve seen enough to feel comfortable that he has what it takes to succeed, under the right conditions, in the prem. I am yet to see how we are going to set up and what our pattern of play will have to be in order to facilitate that success. Which then begs the question, whether that set up will actually be worth it, given potential compromises in other areas.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

Agree, it’s not easy against a bus parking team today. It can be said that he’s not had the best of starts. But if you look at at him relative to other players, for instance Salah, he’s been on a par or slightly better so far this season Things take time to click…….he’ll come good
Defo glimpse of what we will get - New (harsher) league than than the B league - I saw so much on all three that this guy will just ooze in the coming months.
