Check out SkySports rating of Lucas

      What game did they watch..

They rated him the same way as Nigel Reo-Coker

Henry Winter just 15 months ago: "Lucas or Murphy?"

Yet Liverpool's board could legitimately ask Benítez his views on Hodgson's team-building skills and just who is that leading Fulham out in the Europa League final in Hamburg next week?

Why it's Danny Murphy, just the type of strong character and intelligent midfielder Liverpool crave, a popular player shown the door by Benítez in the first of his summer clear-outs/trolley dashes. Murphy or Lucas? Discuss. But not for long.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I can't believe the ratings given by Sky there, utter joke, giving Cahill a 7? Carroll and Lucas a 6 each! Lucas was better than both of those by a mile.

Did you see him do a classic "Hamman", where he turned his back on a Bolton player, and dribbled away waiting for a foul. Unfortunately, he got it a bit wrong. To do it properly, you have to run really slowly. The Bolton player took a while to catch him up.

I may be right in saying that Hamman was classed as an attacking player before he came to us. If he is half the player Hamman was, I will be happy.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I think tbf, he's already half the player Didi was , and seems to be getting better, i almost look at him as the ever present, ever steady....and level headed constant in the side, always trying to be awake to danger and runners.

If he keeps progressing at this rate, still only 24 yeah ? by the time he's 26-28, he could be at his peak maybe, a monster of a player....playing a part in the clubs then successes.

Attitude is just superb, the consummate proffessional and a great example. .

                      ****ing ran the show today.

He's been our most consistant player for two seasons now. Incredible today, utterly ran the show.

Never in the history of pie in the face has a man been forced to make a u-turn. I stand well and truly (and happily) corrected. Potential to be better than Mascherano was for us.

I hope to God we don't attempt to make a best midfield in the world song with these names though.

I'd like to think some of us fans can be given credit for that.
