Its not just his general play. Whenever other players have the ball he always makes himself available (not in a sexual way) as an outlet for them. He drops off them or moves into space, he provides phenominal support and he must be a joy to play alongsideComment

His improvement is when he's got the ball. He's passing it as he usually does, high percentage passes, but he does it at twice the speed, which means he doesn't slow down the movement of the ball. If he keeps moving the ball quickly as well as maintaining his defensive beastliness, I won't have any complaints. In fact, I'll take him over Mascherano any day.Comment
