Do agree with Reece, if he was retiring he'd have done it by now.

Sad to say, but I'm not really sure he's good enough for third choice next season. Especially considering Agger's injury record. I wouldn't add anyone; hopefully Coates gets more of a chance.

        Carragher should be 4th choice.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yep, I can't imagine many fans would disagree with that. In fact I think there would be a lot who would think he shouldn't even be fourth choice.

a 4th choice player in most positions should be a promising teenager imho.

I think it is beneficial to have him in the squad, but as 4th choice at best...

It's only beneficial if Carra accepts being 4th choice and buys into the ethos of the new manager and is supportive of him.
If he doesn't then it will be a disruptive influence
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Of course, that is implied as well...

There's nothing remotely beneficial in having him in the squad. He's a total ****ing liability and the new manager should keep him well away from the first team and let him quietly run down his contract

Apparently the commentators in Germany (it's World All Stars vs Bayern & friends) are implying that Carra has retired.

                              That's just his playing style
