Their response is always "Well he's just improved hasn't he, I call it as I see it - if he's **** I'll say so, and if he improves I'll give credit where it's due".

No, you tool, it's about recognising potential in a ****ing kid and cutting him a bit of slack while he develops.

Yep. Always believed he'd be a good player for us even when he struggled a bit last season but I didn't think he'd turn out to be this ****ing good so soon

thought Suso was a better prospect last year but the tables have turned quite well.

Has Hodgeson actually set out England in 4231 formation. I thought he was strictly a 442 dinosaur.

I really don't get it, how on earth is Janussi regarded as better than Sterling, I've never seen the weedy little **** have a game where he would stand out as being anything special which is quite remarkable in a Scum team jam packed with that much ****.

Sterling looks immense, when he bullied Dembele off the ball at the weekend was a thing of beauty, for a player just turned 19 I genuinely can't think of a player I would swap him for especially when you consider just how good he is now and this is just the tip of the iceberg considering his unlimited potential, The praise Janussi gets is just baffling

I'd love to know what foreign publications are making of him. There will be a lot more written once we hit Europe again of course but I'm interested to know if he's on anyone's radar (not in a transfer sense).

There are only 2 types of radar - normal radar and football transfer radar.

i'd stick my neck out here and disagree with Januzaj - i've seen him look very good, and he looks a great prospect.

Would i swap him for sterling - no chance. Sterling has been so much better over a longer period of time that it's laughable anyone opts for Januzaj over him...but i wouldn't discredit him either just because he plays for united. Like sterling, if he continues to improve and fulfills his potential, he'll be some player

Yep. Same with Lucas, same with Henderson, same with others I'm sure. They pay their money though, so they're entitled to their **** opinion

Agreed. Problem with Januzaj is he has no pace but if he's good enough he'll overcome that as other similar types of player have done.

But yeah Sterling is way ahead. I think he's producing the best numbers in Europe for a teenager, but aside from that and his obvious abilities on the ball, his pace, his power, his work ethic and tactical intelligence give him a big advantage over Januzaj in the modern game. Sterling is multi-faceted.

Sterling used to impress regularly in the reserves (so did Tom Ince lol) but he has picked up skillz he never displayed back then thanks to Rodgerz.

As a like for like comparison with Junuzaj:

Game intelligence: Both come out with flying colours
Goals composure: Januzaj just pips Sterling, for now
Strength: Sterling by a country mile
                          Pace: Only one winner
Positions: Sterling's pace allows him to play in more
Potential: Both should become world class, or just one level below

                          So critically:

Can Sterling do any of Janujaz's roles now or in the future? Yes
Can Januzaj do any of Sterling's roles now or in the future? No
                          One tit for another.

Another huge string to his bow is his defensive qualities, and not some half-baked gesture but full-on man-strength defending.

Squawka have done a comparison on the two players stats for this season - Sterling beats Januzaj in pretty much every area.
