how true this article is, I am not sure....but he is already the 4th highest paid teenager in world football.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostI agree with Carra to a degree, however, 30k a week in the current scale of players wages is really taking the piss with someone as key as Sterling.
He's not just another academy also ran filling up places.
Get him a new contract ASAP.
due to his age, I don't think he can be expected to be paid his worth the team. Realistically if that was the case he would be up there with strurridge and gerrards salary!!
My worry is that he could get there somehwere if he carries on his improvement._____________________________________

So Carragher is not happy with Sterling's agent using the media to spread stuff, so he takes to social media to draw even further attention to it?
Rodgers had already commented on the matter and brushed it off in a few sentences. Hardly needed an ex player weighing in and making it appear like it is a problem.
Heart was probably in the right place, but all it does it help keep the chatter going and makes it more difficult for it to be kept inhouse if a pundit is chucking in his tuppence worth.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I've been **** on following stuff recently, admittedly, but is is rather ironic Carra's quoted tweet is the first I've heard of itOriginally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostSo Carragher is not happy with Sterling's agent using the media to spread stuff, so he takes to social media to draw even further attention to it?

And I am sure there are many others just like you around the world who would be hearing of it for the first time through Carragher's tweet.
Agents are going to do that kind of shyte anyway, but would prefer for it to be commented on in the manner that Rodgers did, rather than seeing ex players/pundits diving in with rash comments after the manager has already said his piece. Would expect it from those with no ties to the club, but Carragher is doing the club, manager, and player no favours with his "shut up" message on Twitter.
The only people that will benefit from what Carragher did are the pundits who now have something extra to talk shyte about and the ****hawks in the media who can spin a "If an ex player of Carraghers stature is getting involved then there must be something to it" line of bullcrap.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

He needs to be rested against WBA. He looks absolutely knackered and longer term a rested Sterling would be preferable to one who loses his effectiveness due to being so jaded. Especially with the England matches coming up - which we have no control of and he will be played every minute possible. If he's rested against WBA, at least it will be one less game he has had to play. Unfortunately England will gain in the short term, but hopefully we will in the med/longer term.
Anyway, Markovic needs to be given game time. It seems sensible to do this when a similar player looks dead on his feet.

I think he looks mentally knackered as much as anything else, almost stressed. He's 19, must be as fit as a butcher's dog, and I'm sure the playing time he's had can't be too detrimental. But mentally he's carrying a heavy load....being practically our best player and all. I think he should have a rest v West Brom too. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yeah, him being mentally knackered makes sense. The lad needs a rest.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI think he looks mentally knackered as much as anything else, almost stressed.
