utd story is a load of bollocks, if they really intend to spend/waste any time chasing this transfer, then more fool them.

What on earth makes utd think we'd sell Sterling to them, when we'll have plenty of decent offers from clubs we don't despise.(as much)

If we sell him to Utd that's the end for me. I don't care how little I care about Sterling but if we end up selling him to them there's nothing down for us.

All bets are off on the owners, not that I trust them anyway!

Please **** off and take your drama elsewhere mate. It's getting really tedious.

You're the kind of person that posts "I know who my real friends are..." bull**** on Facebook right?

No need for abuse . I hope we sell Sterling for the right price to the other Manc club but there Would be uproar from the fans if we sold him to United. Personally I don't think it would happen but football isn't what it used to be and nothing surprises me anymore. There's no loyalty in football these days.

They way I said it Was a bit of a **** post to be fair.

We've all had a few, let's keep things civil regardless of how infuriating a poster's opinion can be.

I'd hope we'd challenge the post, not attack the poster. Such are the polarising opinions at the moment, we'd have a clear divide dissecting the forum if we resort to name-calling.

Sounds like too much effort. They dont put any effort into calling our players cunts. Cunts.

Sterling has already shown that he has little regard for LFC and the fans, if he gets the best deal from United then he'll want to go there. Personally I'd prefer he left the Premiership but if that isn't an option then just sell to the highest bidder - whether that's United, City or Leicester.

I couldn't care less who we sold him too tbh. If United were the highest bidders he could go there for me. What's the big deal? Whether he goes City, Arsenal or United he'd be a thorn in our side whatever the outcome.

Even if we flogged him to Madrid, he'd flop there and be at one of those clubs within a couple of years. Anyhow, I think he's decent, but it'd hardly be like selling a Michael Owen or Stevie Gerrard to them.

And tbh, unless we get a decent offer I'd keep him. A good season next year and he'd want to sign a new contract. Insert a daft clause and then everyone's happy.

I don't give a **** where he goes. It would make sod all difference. If utd don't buy him they will buy someone else as good or better.

I would say they've signed someone better already.

Either way, the idea that we'd be improving our rivals doesn't hold true, it's not akin to selling Suarez to arsenal.
