I'm fairly confident we wouldn't sell to Manchester United anyway. I think it's just a ploy to start a bidding war.

Damn it! I keep forgetting Sterling is so **** we need to get rid of him to improve ourselves and make one of our rivals worse!
If top players look at LFC right now, look at who's left in the last couple of seasons, who we're signing now, and then evaluates our finishing position, would they come here with confidence?
I think signing these 'top notch' players everyone wants us to will be highly difficult.Last edited by Vermilion; 05-06-15, 09:54 AM.

I'm not saying he's ****, just that he isn't worth the fees mentioned. I'd also rather keep him, there is guarantee we would spend the money on two players worth having.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostDamn it! But I wouldn't lose sleep if he left. Main reason being he isn't a great winger and I think that's where Rodgers would play him. He's a number ten.Forwards.......

The conversation was about where he ends up going rather than whether selling him is a good or bad idea.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostDamn it! I keep forgetting Sterling is so **** we need to get rid of him to improve ourselves and make one of our rivals worse!

I don't really get it. People seem resigned to him going, and, on this page at least, people aren't really bothered where. Not because he's **** but because it's obvious already that he wants to leave and we'll get a decent fee for him.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

For £100m and we're ripping them off. Well up for a bit of thatOriginally posted by Chris View Post
Like he gives a ****. And no, even if they offer £100m, tell them to ****. right. off.
Gabriel Heinze.
They can **** off.
Let's face it, he's going to be hated wherever he goes. The intensity of it will be great to see

I'd take that.Originally posted by redmike65 View PostThe S*n running with a story which was then rehashed in the Independent (that paper has become such a bargain bin Guardian) says 50m offer from City.
But given the source(s) it is almost certainly BSThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
