40m to 50m for him would be worth £32m to £40m to us after QPR got their 20%.

Would try for one from Lacazette, Gotze, or Higuain.

Or take it and bid £20m apiece for Aubameyang and Nainggolan

We'll piss it all away on Benteke no doubt

Get £42m. Minus 20% spread over 3 years. Spend it all on Lacazette and tell world football we still have the means.

Sterling started last season strongly and was playing well in a poor team up until around December or early January.

Then from January onwards he looked disinterested on the pitch and his goals/assists started to dry up.

My own thoughts are that he wants out and rather than put in the effort to show other clubs what he can do, he instead downed tools and just went through the motions until the season ended.

Would have thought that putting in big performances would have made it easier for him to iget his big move, but maybe he really does think he is close to being the finished article and so much in demand that he does not need to prove it. Would be a silly attitude to have if it is even slightly close to being the truth.
it wuld have been easier for sterling to raise his profile by continuing to put a shift in and it is strange the way he has just 'downed tools'

Maybe his agent has told him the move is already sorted, ease off to lower the selling fee and the new club will bump the wages accordingly
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Manchester City are determined to win the race for Raheem Sterling and will make a second £40million offer in the next 48 hours.

                          £180,000-a-week in a lucrative deal

March - 'Raheem Sterling would cost £100m to buy' - Manuel Pellegrini

                              Then get close to that.
