If he wants a move he should hand in a transfer request and waive his loyalty bonus, it's not about the money after all
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I've just read that Express article online and it says nothing. Less than nothing in fact:
MANCHESTER CIY will be joined in the chase to sign Liverpool contract rebel Raheem Sterling this week by Real Madrid and Arsenal.
Express Sport revealed that Liverpool’s owners are prepared to sell the England forward providing any interested party comes up with an offer of £50 million.
Manchester City have opened the bidding with a straight offer of £25 million with a further £5 million in various add ons.
That has been instantly rejected by Liverpool who will hold firm for what they want in the knowledge that they held firm and finally squeezed £75 million from Barcelona last summer for Luis Suarez.
They also know that former Anfield boss Rafa Benitez who brought a young Sterling to Merseyside from QPR has indicated he is interested in taking the 20-year-old to the Bernabeu as one of his first signings.
Liverpool are expecting the first official move from the Spanish giants in the next few days while Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is a confirmed admirer of the winger.
While Wenger publicly cries poverty - that Arsenal won’t play ball in the inflated transfer market – Liverpool are aware that the Gunners are watching every move and will enter the bidding.
They also believe that the player would love to return to London and that the Emirates is his preferred destination.
But City still remain the favourites to sign Sterling because with chairman Khaldoon al Mubarak’s declaration of intent to spend big on “high quality individuals” they are prepared to go the extra mile in any bidding war.
It will mean them having to go close to £50 million to claim their man while Wolfsburg’s Kevin de Bruyne is edging closer to a £35 million move to the Etihad Stadium.
Juventus are playing hard ball over former Manchester United youngster Paul Pogba, seen by City as the long term replacement for Yaya Toure. The Italian champions are demanding £75 million for the midfielder, a figure even City aren’t prepared to pay.
