No mention of the Liverpool fans, it must really get on his tits that we never sung about him.
maybe we can sort out a song for him now he has gone, just to give him a nice warm welcome when he comes to visit.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Probably got more on his tits that the best fans in the world had a go at him during home games and have threatened his daughter.Originally posted by baitman View PostNo mention of the Liverpool fans, it must really get on his tits that we never sung about him.

I don't know whether to be pleased or to call u a ****
I do have to admit though....the last 6 months or so I haven't been posting as much and I am taking a hell of a lot less cocaine so maybe it's helping
I do like you as a poster btw, but it's more your enthusiastic presence I enjoy usually rather than any particular content.
3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Also as for not getting any love/chants from the fans I think there is a theme there in our non-Merseyside based British players, particularly the Southerners
.
They never seem to get a chant. Sturridge, for all his goals, has never had a popular chant. There's something about them the Kop fails to identify with I guess, they feel more comfortable making chants for foreign players on the whole.

Potential. It's a word i keep hearing, but he also has the potential to flop badly for the fee paid.
Obviously thanking Rafa was him working on his move to Madrid for next season.

They overcomplicate the songs these days. Sterling did have a song, but it was **** and overcomplicated so it never took off (Galway Girl tune).Originally posted by Pablo View PostAlso as for not getting any love/chants from the fans I think there is a theme there in our non-Merseyside based British players, particularly the Southerners

Our best players usually have a chant though. Sturridge had the Fowler one for a while, that's a good one for him if he ever gets fit again.

I think it was a mistake selling him.
IMO it's quite incredible how everyone considers him to be **** suddenly, he's proven time and again that he's an exceptional talent, but he was never going to have a good 2014/15 when you consider that the club relied solely on him (a twenty year-old) to score goals, carry our entire attack and win us games for most of the season. It's almost impossible to play well when you're the only player the opposition has to worry about - and even so he was still our best forward. And he's 20. A season before, when he had Suarez and Sturridge ahead of him, he was amazing and I think that's what he'll be like again once he gets some more space and quality around him at city at City.
Instead of complementing our best players with more quality, we keep selling them and getting mediocre replacements. It's not a strategy that's likely to get us anywhere in the long run. But anyway he's a cunt with a **** attitude and I hope he fails badly etc...

He's clearly a good player, one of our key players last year despite not hitting the heights of the previous one and for good reason as you say. Imo it will come back to bite us mainly cos we won't spend the money well.
Interesting to see the Thai fans not being too arsed with us this year, only a half full stadium and the supporters clubs reckon it's cos we don't have any star names on the trip. Sign of the times.

Yeah, a good player full of potential - he might end up Ronaldo, on the other hand he might end up as Jermaine Pennant. His attitude would suggest he's going to be closer to the latter.
We have money now, so buy a player for the here and now that can have an impact on results. I think Sterling was misused last year, which probably added to his disillusion - that's the club's fault for not adequately stocking up on strikers after Suarez left.

He could turn out to be one of the top players in the world if he reaches his potential, if that is the case then City will have got themselves a bargain. If he doesn't then he could be the new SWP or Jermaine Pennant, in which case we'll be laughing.
Personally I think if he had made this move in a year or two he would have been fine, at the moment I'm not so sure how he will do.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Anyone that has said he's **** or the likes is just bitter about him leaving. He's a talented kid and has huge potential but IMO his attitude stinks.Originally posted by Daffy Duck View PostI think it was a mistake selling him.

He may very well become world class or not. Who cares, he's gone and we have bigger problems to sort out.
