    Not yet.

That said my understanding is that when he turned age 17 3-year professional contract kicked in that would keep him with us until summer 2014.

One of the best performances on the wing I have seen in years. Utterly brilliant performance.

He did more in 90 minutes than what Downing did entire last season.

Is there any truth in the rumours that he's a dad?

Someone should get Stirling-Dilva on the back of their shirt..

Unless it's a sly reference to his proclivity for getting young ladies in the family way.

One of the greatest players of all time Lionel Messi, Only become a regular when he was 19 although he was probably 'ready' earlier. I just think we have to manage the expectation and the last thing we need on our hands is another Owen.
I wouldn't mind a 25 goal a season european footballer of the year who only went downhill when he left us to be honest.

It's true. He's not a Dad yet (I don't think) but he got two different girls up the duff at around the same time.

I think thats the 700th time i've heard that after every game that Sterling has played. it's quite obvious that if he done better than downing did in the whole of last season then the next game he plays he would still be doing better..

He was brilliant yesterday, i liked his wee trick infront of toure while standing still, it was funny.. he knows when to run, what runs to make, who he should be looking for in the final third. He seems strong enough aswellhe was holding Toure off quite a bit when he was looking the ball, and thats no easy task. I love that he can either cut in on his right and have a pop at goal, or run it to the touchline and swing it in with his left, his crossing could be more accurate, but he's 17 that comes with time and experience.

All in all was a good performance by Raheem, long may it continue.. but i fear that if we keep using him other teams will just gang up on the lad from the word go, like they did with Torres when he came here, or Suarez.. Plus he's 17 I don't think he should be getting to play week in week out simply because of risk to injury and at a young age that could potentially **** him up later in life, just have to look at Gerrard for an example, as much as possible, yes, but every week could be tough for the lad.

He would be brilliant to bring on in the last 30mins of games to run at some tired defences.

If defenders have to gang up on him and double team him then that creates space for other players like Suarez & Gerrard.

Tougher tests will come, but bright start. It'll be interesting to see how he performs when opposition defenders can match him for pace.

For example, he wouldn't be able to just knock it & run against a player like Kyle Walker.

But a great point to note is that he's now a viable first team option. When a youth player breaks through it is like signing a new player, and with the lad from Morocco also signed, we are looking a lot better on the wings.
