I'm wishing Torres the best of luck tonight - certainly hope he scores...
1. We're not in the competition
2. He's playing against the Scum (a more disgusting team than Chelsea)
As long he doesn't score in the PL or the next round of Champions League there's nothing wrong with cheering him on tonight!

Would it not wind up Mancs more if he scored his first against them after being so ****?Originally posted by Craig_H View PostWhy are people wishing Torres scores? Why not just wish the mancs get stuffed and someone else scores the goals?
The longer he goes being impotent, the funnier it gets.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

More funny if he scores against them after having gone so long without scoring but then doesn't score any more for ages. Plus, with him being a ex-LFC player it'd wind the Mancs up more.

I want the chavs to hammer them and Torres be anonymous and get taken off early in the second halfThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I remember a story of someone writing to him when he was at Chelsea, asking for his autograph. The more iconic players used to have stock photos ready, like the Panini type stickers, which they would sign and send off to the fans.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post

He was always known as the 'indie footballer', a rare footballer who read NME/Melody Maker and had decent taste. He's also known as a total piss head so your post makes absolutely perfect sense.
Not Nevin.
He basically raided his photo album and dug out a picture of himself in a rather pensive pose on holiday somewhere. He signed it, and wrote a letter apologising that he wasn't dressed in his kit, explaining that he'd never been asked for such a thing before.
Oh I don't know.

If you look at his career it's pretty difficult to argue otherwise. It's an absolute fact Torres played by far his best football under Rafa. Even last season which seemingly everyone dismisses as **** he scored 18 goals in 20 starts, which is phenomenal. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

No no no, but Rafa was too defensive, he never allowed Gerrard and Torres express themselvesOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostIf you look at his career it's pretty difficult to argue otherwise.
