Nah - i can't see it, i reckon he'll go to the San Siro graveyard for AC ( a la Ronaldinho) then end up back at atletico..

Full Circle - with **** all to show for it..

I wouldn't want him back with us for all the tea in China.

If we were to take Torres back I'd say only on loan for a season... with an option to buy

The main weapon of Torres was not speed it was acceleration. How fast he could hit top speed from a standing start.

This has gone and he is a shadow of the player. Sure he will still have the odd decent patch and score a few but he is finished as a top drawer player.

Looks like a good bit of business getting rid of him.........

Its great business getting rid of him! We cashed in on a player who didnt want to play for us and who has completely lost his form!! Its Chelsea that are the real losers!!

I think some people are getting carried away, as funny as it is to see him struggle after the way he left us, he is still a very good player - whether he'll reach the level he was at previously is another matter.

Chelsea have still got a good player, they may have paid over the odds which would be good for us, but time will tell on that. IMO Chelsea would be foolish to sell him in the summer, although I suspect that this is just newspaper speculation (although you never know with Chelsea).
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Torres was a great player, the best striker in world football IMO. However, that was over 2 years ago (and coincidentally when we were last in the CL). He is clearly a shadow of his former self and I would not expect him to ever reach the heights he did at Anfield.

He had the complete package at Anfield. A sole striker and the focal point of our attacks. He was our No.1, our hero, worshipped by millions and millions of reds around the world. At Chelsea he is just another expensive pawn on the chessboard. Chelsea fans may adore him but they have been spoilt for choice over the years and the novelty will soon wear off, if it hasn't already.

Don't know what my point is, but as has been said before, he made his bed and must lie in it. Alone.

by the sounds of things on here there are still many of you who would lie in that bed with him.
