There was an interesting article on one of the blogs a few months back about how it might be that the value in the Dutch market is in buying defenders. I'm not sure there has been much of a case for quality defending in the PL in the last couple of seasons."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Dalglish always responds with a comment along those lines if ever asked about transfer targets.
He never gives anything away.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Thing is it could be taken from footage, and Torres may have looked Kenny in the eye and had just turned away to walk off, and that's the clip they've used to paint a certain picture of what was happeneing.Originally posted by Lee View PostThanks mate.
I saw this picture yesterday and to me it looks as though Torres can't even look Dalglish in the eye.

But yes, it does come across like he's avoiding eye contact, even though they could have just hugged each other a second earlier for all we know.

Very much so, I agree. Personally I see that picture and I see Kenny looking at Torres saying 'stay man, stay'. But of course it's all about the individuals' perception.

tbh though, taking into account the time it was taken, and what was going on, it is a fair bet that there was some eye contact avoidance tactics going on by Torres, and some...'Can you look me in the eye laddie' from te King.
