The reference to the American owners sounds like Hicks and Gillett, rather than Fenway, Torres was only here what 3 months under Fenway, in that time he can't have got to know them that well, and they haven't had much time to make and break promises to him.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The previous owners (and maybe Hodgson) lied and let us all down. Torres let is get to him and showed a little immaturity in deciding to move when he did. Of course he has regrets.
If he did return, then I would back him and welcome him. We all should.I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

True. They didn't even have a transfer window to show if they meant business or not.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostThe reference to the American owners sounds like Hicks and Gillett, rather than Fenway, Torres was only here what 3 months under Fenway, in that time he can't have got to know them that well, and they haven't had much time to make and break promises to him."That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

I think he wanted rafa back instead of kenny. yes he respects Kenny as a legend but he things rafa is the better manager. that it wasnt rafa who he believed in and he was getting all sorts of sweet nothings in his ear from chelski - build a team around you, better manager, spend loads reinvigorating the team, guaranteed CL each year etc etc.
comparing that to a transition period under a manager who was not your first choice i can see why he took it.
he should shut it tho. put it in a book and those of us who give enough of a **** will buy it. yawn
