Another 90 mins against ****e opposition like Boro & he can't score.

He has claimed that first goal last night (Ramires shot deflection).

I think it was Chelsea forcing them too. Whenever he is mentioned on their match reports on the website they always start by saying "The goalscorer"...now lets not ****ing kid ourselves.

@Mootaz_LFC: Alonso, Torres, Arbeloa, Iniesta, Suarez, Carragher and Mascherano will all be playing next year at Gerrard's testimonial match.

I wonder if Torres will still be at Chelsea and what their fans will think of him turning out in a red shirt?

I reckon if he came back, and made up with a few of the players, he'd smash back in to form. Just imagine Torres and Suarez up top, with Coutinho and Sturridge either side and Gerrard just behind.
Can't see him coming back though. I think he'll do one back to Spain. Can't see him staying at Chelsea past the summer.
Rome wasn't built in a day, but it wasn't built by the apprentice either.

To be honest, I've got a feeling his "downer" is down to him not wanting to be there. I bet he thought when Drogba left he'd get his chance to play nearly every match, then six months later they sign Demba Ba. I don't hate him for leaving anymore, if anything I feel sorry for the lad.

He was like that here too towards the end. We don't need his anymore

He is part of our history not our future. What memories he gave us.....will always be a case of what still could have been though.

No sympathy. Nobody is held ransom against their will at any football club. He could terminate his contract tomorrow if he wanted to. 120 grand a week? Feel sorry for him? Ha, some perspective please.
