I remember him vividly, coming through at Leeds with Kewell, Viduka, Martin and co.

Had a type of wedge hair cut, or a fringe anyway, looked like he'd be a lad with attitude. He was getting stuck in, but with plenty of skill on show too, in fact i think he was far more of a skillful type back then than he's been through his career, could be remembering that wrong, but it's how i recall him being.

I know he'll be paid a fortune, but it's still good to see a player moving so they can play regular football.

Almost becoming a rarity. Surely better to fight for a club trying to get into the CL, than almost permanently sitting on the bench while in the CL (eh Salah, Cuadrado, idiots).
