I would have been tempted to put him in the DM role but then you look at Morenos stupid ****in face and that temptation goes out the window......

Pity we don't have anyone to take that LB spot off Milner as Milner would have been ideal in that no. 6 role as a deputy to Henderson as he has the experience & know how.

I dont think he would be Hendersons deputy. In fact I bet he could play any midfield role as good as the current incumbents... maybe even Coutinho (gasp).

I like Milner, he's a great professional and cool under pressure but I hope we see less of him a LB this season. With the caveat that it's only pre-season; however, the two Audi Cup games highlights how much better and fluid attacking team we are when the full backs overlap especially as we are playing inverted wingers. It was also reduce the chances of him taking more corners too.

Klopp got to have a contingency if one out of CBs go down. I think it's Milner.
