Henderson's gone mate. If he survives January he'll almost certainly be shipped out next summer. Perhaps if he was on low wages and excelled in one area/position he might have some sort of future here but as things stand he's a goner along with Carroll, Downing, Cole and possibly Enrique.

Be delighted when those 5 are gone, but horrible buys. As for Henderson... Said it when we bought what does he do? Answer is absolutely nothing. All mouth and no trousers. The sad part he wasn't even looking ahead. He could have gone around, taken a shot over the keeper, to the left or right (and the ball was on his stronger right foot) etc.

But no, he made up his mind he was going to pass no matter what even when likelihood of picking up Downing was 0%.

Suso, Shelvey, Pacheco would have gone for the goal.
