I think it's a tactical instruction. He's drifting inside to help with our passing game. With Downing on the other flank, it makes sense.

Henderson played well. But like you said Lucas was pissed off with him. But iit is early days he is new to the squad and playing system,

The plus side for me was the fact that Lucas was pissed off, it shows how he is growing in stature. Today he was absolutely immense!

The lad just needs time/patience to settle down into a much improved squad to get the very best of him. Today's performance showed that and IMO, will continue to develop into a exeptional player if he keeps up his work rate etc.

Like you say Red Polo, "He come out of his shell today" and i imagine, he will come on from today's performane

That's been noticable on many occassions this season; we've got the ball in the central midfield and there's a big space on the right but nobody is attacking it - neither the right midfielder or right back. It could be tactical instruction from the bench.

Definitely Henderson best game for LFC. Bit more combative & positive. Early doors, did well enough and hopefully can improve and progress
