We really need Henderson back in midfield he doesn't half pick up the pace in the middle. I think he will link up great with Firmino Courinho Benteke. One touch passing, give and go etc. Milner just doesn't cut it. I cant see what he does. He cant pass, his touch isn't great, he always gets booked. I think he is a marginally better signing than Joe Cole (Free but over paid wages). We could get someone much better on much less wages. How part of the reason he wanted to come was to play under Rogers i don't know either.

Klopp described the 25-year-old as 'an absolute leader' and revealed his hope for a swift return.

“There was no second of doubt about this decision,” the Reds boss said.

“I didn’t ask because it was logical for me, we never had to think about whether Henderson was the right captain.

“I’ve met him, he’s an absolute leader and he’s in a good way at this moment, and we all hope he’s back in a few weeks.

“I do not know what will happen in the next two weeks, it’s very important and we’re waiting for this. Hendo stays captain.”

I know it's just print but the difference is noticeable when describing Hendo returning from injury compared to Sturridge. With Hendo there is so much more expectancy and joy. With Dan, it's just meh, whatever.

Him, Lucas and one other in that Midfield fills me with confidence. Sakho behind and Coutinho in front of them and we have a good spine. Just the keeper needs addressing and I think its as good as anyone in the league then.
