After reading that, couldn't help but think of klopps cattle comment about young players. Will be such a shame if it turns out to be persistent as he is coming into his peak years.

Not to say that its always wrong or a bad thing, but i think this 'play through the pain' mentality can be a double edged sword and one that players like henderson in particular bear because they are the type to always do it if they can.

Certainly no extended break in a decade seems excessive.

I think as said, it'll be a pain until it ruptures and then he will be fine. Just a bit of management until that happens. Shame for him & us as a fit Hendo would be a great boost for us at this time.
