Hendo has improved massively in the last 2 seasons. I was calling for VVD to be our captain at the start of last season but Hendo has shown exactly why he is our captain. Was outstanding again last night, his long range passing is superb.. great to see that facet of his game used.

I like the accuracy of his long range passing, I just sometimes wish they had a bit more zip to them, especially when switching flanks, he tends to float them over, giving the opposition a chance to close the receiver. But that's a minor quibble, the man is leading us in a grand way, and long may it continue.

Never thought I would say this during his first two years at LFC. He is going to retire as a proper bonafide Liverpool legend. Whenever we needed energy, control, attacking thrusts, he has stepped up like anything. Huge performance at key moments this calendar year.

He always looked great in an advanced position but previous managers liked to drop him deeper where he struggled. Klopp seems to have improved him there. I just wish his shooting wasnt so wank. Good to see he isnt badly injured. We certainly need him in as many games as possible.

Agree with that. Klopp certainly has improved the defensive side of Hendo’s game. He was always capable further forward whilst never prolific in front of goal but hes much more versatile these days.

I think it is partly down to Gomez. A fit on form Gomez is a much better option than Matip or Lovren at their best.
