He's so good at flicking the ball away in a tackle in a one on one. He produced a perfect example on full time tonight after he'd relentlessly closed down about 4 midfielders.

Hah I remember that vividly. What a game. I have a bad memory so it stands out for some reason.

Being a southerner I have plenty of Arsenal mates and move worked for a company of 8 where everyone supported Arsenal. I have a distinct dislike for the club! The Mellor goal commentary used to be my ring tone back in the 2000s while working there.

They were also all 6 foot+ and called me dwarf boy, but I’ll save that for therapy.

Er anyway back to Hendo. What a ****ing season. Relentless is the word I should’ve used at the end of the game yesterday where I believe he had the last two tackles. He’s grown into the role as captain, but exceeded all expectations.

Every time he scores he celebrates the set up or the others in the team. Love the guy.

I watched with my neighbour, first game for ages, and he's still berating him. Yesterday it was for not moving the ball quickly enough and a stray pass. Totally ignored the looped pass to Mo that Mo crossed and Bobby missed. Totally ignored anything else that Hendo did that was positive. Really weird

My mate Matt has ridiculously broad shoulders despite not having a big overall frame.

He's the sort of fella who would love a chat with a stranger on the train too, so you'd have been in luck if it was him
