Henderson has been our best player of the season. He offers intangibles as well as ability. The desire hunger and leadership is all him. He sets the standards. When we are in the **** and not playing well it is Hendo that drags us out of it.

There was a great interview with Hendo and Virgil after the battle gains the Wolves and you only had to look at how drenched in sweat Hendos shirt was compared to Van Dijk (who was superb that night) to realise the shift Hendo had put in.

He has been note important then Mane and Van Dijk and Salah and definitely more important than Trent. And consider how important I think those three are.

If you were real Madrid or Barcelona Manager then you'd certainly go for the 3 you mentioned if you needed players in those positions.

I do think that Henderson has been a really good leader of the team this season though. And he has possibly got a few % improvement in a few players around him. That can be huge.

Well he's above two of them in the player of the season Morse runs.

And as Buzzo suggests, much of his best work goes unnoticed and can't be measured in goals and assists but anybody who captains Liverpool to their first league title in 30 year, performing at the level he is, surely has to be a leading contender for POTY.
