He played a blinder, was everywhere. It's not just that now he is a much more confident version of the player who arrives from Sunderland or that he filled out, he is night and day better technically.

If you see clips of how he used to receive the ball, turn and look to play forward versus how he does it now. Today's hendo uses less touches and is far faster in his decision making.

I think he's as talented but in a different way tbh.

That is incredibly noticeable yeah. He can comfortably take the ball on the half-turn now whereas once he was pretty cumbersome and almost mechanical in the way he received the ball.

          Confidence is everything in sport.

Because he has lived through all of it he epitomises the journey the team has been on. As the team has got better and begun to believe in ourselves he has got better, and as Jordan has got better and begun to believe in himself, the team has got better. Thats why we play better with him in the team, he knows what happens if the standards slip. He was immense yesterday, at times bollocking and at times encouraging, always looking for the ball always controlling our play.

He is also a link back to when we were ****, he had been to line and not crossed it so many times. I think it shows tremendous desire to come back for more when you are knocked down. Jordan comes back hard every single time, and gets better and better.

In a team of hard work, endeavour, modestly and no little amount of skill he is the perfect leader.

It was a noticeable difference between him and Can in the beginning and why I preferred the latter in that role.

On that note, did Can give off because he didn't like playing as a DM, or was it that he wanted to be guaranteed that spot, which we couldn't do?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I got on Hendo to win SPOTY at 22/1 which I thought was a triumph in itself as he was later shortened into between 6s and 8/1. He's now 25/1, what the ****? That jockey Hollie Doyle has come in from absolutely nowhere to 9/4 2nd favourite. Eh?

So if anyone thinks he can still win it and fancies a big price, now's a good time to have more on it. It's probably a stitch up ffs.

Still cannot get over that he was only in his late 30s when he made that movie. Looks 20 years older than that.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Really? Bloody hell. How many paper rounds did he have?

This is so true & it was the reason he used to get stick off me in the past. He’s upped his game so much that I’m a believer now. Did you read that Norbs, IM A BELIEVER .
