I tore it in the 60s (I'm old!) and then there was no treatment. I tore a cartilage in France in the 80s and the surgeon there told me if I had been French he'd have replaced my ACL - but I wasn't going to be there long enough to recover.

Anyway, that's why I need a knee replacement now.

If Maxi and Kuyt leave it is imperative we replace them. Their quality and experienced will be missed. Part of our problem this season has been mentality and new players not living up to expectations. They'll all be better with that season under their belt.

i don't think we're in any danger of not replacing outgoing players, unless we are going to promote anybody. they'd have to have a lot of faith in a young player though.
