Definite cause. His wandering out of position is what sent our defence into dissaray.

He hasn't looked any good since Carra retired. I reckon Cara must have given him regular beatings to remind him to stay in position.

I was trying to be diplomatic, think I've been calling him **** for at least the last 4 years on here.

In modern football, certainly under Rodgers with attacking FB's and Klopp with the high press our CB's have to be able to defend high and 1v1 as well as when dragged into the wide areas.

As you say, Skrtel was ok for a period alongside Carra, sat 10-15 yards deeper with FB's tucked in and a sitter in front.
        Basically being protected.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Cheers Marty, your debut against Havant and Waterlooville was one of the most hapless debuts I've ever seen

Seriously though, thanks for the goals and the one season you were amazing. The rest, meh.

It can't be as bad as Woodgate's for Madrid.

Why are people so sure he is leaving?

Tell you what in the Centre of a Back 3 he was beastly ... everywhere else he was mostly drunk

He was close to tears after the Brom match & Klopp gave him a big hug which seemed to indicate his time sup.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I only seen the highlights, so no post match reaction, but are your sure it wasn't Rondon that had him close to tears rather than anything else?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The twitter ITKs have been saying for some time that he's defo off in the summer to join Sven Goran Eriksson in China.

He'd do better in the J League

There's a chance you could be right

I hope we get silly money if he goes to China. Him and Balotelli for silly money please! Atleti managed to do it with Jackson after he flopped there
